The other day, I left my home early to catch the rising sun. As I was driving around town looking for interesting subjects to shoot, I passed an amazing little church. I had to pull over, lower my window, and shoot a couple frames before I continued on my way. When I came home and looked through the images from the morning, I loved the way the light was hitting the beautiful stone, and the pretty Christmas wreaths on the grand wooden doors, and thought to myself, ‘Why not send these to the church?’ So, I did!
The next day I received a super sweet email from Rev. Jane Ann thanking me, and I was so excited! Then, came a follow up message. She was asking me to shoot an event for them next month! Totally, over the moon of course, I said I’d LOVE to, and felt honored. Last Saturday I stopped by to meet her and a few other folks in the production, and shot a few more frames which they’ll use to promote the event.
Pretty awesome.
